Before you book
Is laser hair removal safe for dark skin tones?+
Yes. SKINX SPA uses SharpLight DPC Pro technology, which treats all skin types and tones (Fitzpatrick I–VI). We always begin with a free consultation and test patch to confirm the ideal settings for your skin.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?+
Most clients see optimal results with sessions scheduled every 6 weeks. Package options of 4–5 sessions are available for the best long-term reduction. Note that blonde and grey hair cannot be treated with laser technology.
What is microneedling with Salmon DNA (PDRN)?+
We pair the Dr.Pen A20 microneedling device with PDRN Salmon DNA serum, a regenerative compound that boosts collagen production at a cellular level. It targets acne scars, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, melasma and fine lines.
Where is SKINX SPA located?+
We're at 36 Salem Rd S, Unit B, Ajax, Ontario L1S 0E7 — serving Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa and the entire Durham Region. Free parking is available on site.
What are your hours?+
Monday to Friday 10 AM – 7 PM, Saturday and Sunday 10 AM – 5 PM. Book online anytime through our booking page.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 12 hours incur a 10% fee, and no-shows are charged 30% of the service cost. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied to rescheduled appointments with proper notice.
